Hiromi Uehara - Another Mind

Bueno pues los nipones siempre se han caracterizado por ser de los músicos con más disciplina y extravagancia en los géneros extremos como el avant y metal. Hoy les traigo Jazz Fusion! a cargo de esta virtuosa e increíblemente creativa pianista que se codea con Chick Corea y básicamente con cualquier persona que esté consolidada ya en ese submundillo de daño cerebral. Este es el primer álbum de Hiromi Uehara, con sólo escuchar la primera pieza se darán cuenta de la joya con la que se han topado. Seguiré subiendo más de sus álbumes.

Este es un álbum de pura excelencia, enfermizo y hermoso a la vez. Es como que Frank Zappa hubiera sido el jefe de la mafia italiana y esta banda tocara en su casa y bares todos los días. Roy Paci, multi-instrumentista y rapero italiano, lidera y crea a esta banda de jazz ultraviolento. Además, Mike Patton colabora en un track con sus clásicos efectos vocales. Recomendadísimo!

Una de ellas es un cover de el tema de El Padrino.
